Alex Hua Tian profile on BBC Worldwide
Alex, Visit Britain's Goodwill Ambassador, was the featured guest this Friday on BBC World New's Peschardt's People. Former BBC Senior Foreign Correspondent, Michael Peschardt flew in from Australia to film Alex at Burghley House, home of the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials. Alex was interviewed and filmed explaining the course and the sport to Michael, riding his two stunning young horses, Furst Love and Wolkenderry and having a picnic in front of the beautiful Burghley House.
Peschardt's People is a centrepiece of BBC World News schedule broadcast and is produced and presented by one of BBC's most experienced and respected presenters. Michael Peschardt has a personal connection with Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, having covered the competition in 1971 when Princess Anne won the European Championships at the event.
Guests on the programme have included Robert De Niro, Sir Edmund Hillary, Dennis Lillee, Ben Elton.
The basic formal of the show is that Michael's guests show him some of the places that are important to them and have a chance to talk at length about their interests and passions.
